My Story

I will be running the London Marathon 2026 in support the Electrical Industries Charity (EIC). The EIC raise much needed funds for those in the electrical industry who need it most, whether they be pensioners, apprentices or relatives.

Over the last 100 years EIC have supported the electrical and energy sector through tough times. They have offered a listening ear and a helping hand to tens of thousands of people. Last year alone, EIC supported 30,000 industry colleagues in varying circumstances. 1 in 2 of the case load supported by EIC are assisted with their mental health and EIC have worked hard over the last four years to champion positive and open mental health within the sector. They have trained over 10,000 sector employees in Mental Health Awareness and over 500 industry colleagues in Mental Health First Aid.

To help them continue their vital work to support our sector through terminal illness, financial hardship, mental health worries, relationship breakdown, will-writing and CV revamping I am running the famous London Marathon in 2025.

I will cover 26 miles of famous London landmarks and try to raise as much money as I can for EIC. Your support on this journey would be incredible! You can help to feed a family, buy school uniforms, heat a home or fund counselling sessions.
